ROAD ACCIDENTS DATA IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA IN THE PAST DECADES

As a part of its regular activities, RTSA monitors the traffic safety situation in Serbia and other relevant characteristics of the traffic safety and analyzes their impact on the changes in the traffic safety situation in Serbia.

In the Republic of Serbia, without data for Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija in the period from 1980 to 2010 in total of 1,271,549 traffic accidents occurred, in which 38,724 persons were killed and 562,691 suffered serious and less serious injuries.
