Road Traffic Safety Agency of the Republic of Serbia
In order to establish the road traffic safety system the purpose of which will primarily be prevention, and removal, of consequences incurred during the operation of that kind of traffic, the Government of the Republic of Serbia founded the Road Traffic Safety Agency on December 2009, which practically commenced its work on September 1, 2010.

PAYMENTS FOR HUMANITARIAN AID VIA "Pay Pal" SERVICE
We inform you that from 18 May, 2014 Pay Pal account is acctive through which it is possible to pay in humanitarian aid for flood victims in Serbia from 193 countries and region.
Account belongs to the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union in Brussels and all the funds payed by using the Pay Pal service are directly transferred to the special account of the Government of the Republic of Serbia which is open to help elimination of extraordinary circumstances - flooding.
Payment can be made on site floodrelief.gov.rs which contains data about other options for the payment of humanitarian aid for flood victims in the Republic of Serbia.
REGIONAL ROAD SAFETY CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP
To help advance a global road safety agenda, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has joined forces with the Government of the Republic of Serbia (Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure (MCTI) and Road Traffic Safety Agency (RTSA)) and Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). The workshop will bring together a wide range of road safety stakeholders and interested parties from the public and private sectors, including decision makers, planning authorities, and international organizations. Discussions – in English, Russian and Serbian - will focus on issues such as establishment of a lead agency, developing a national strategy, setting realistic and long term targets, funding sources and data support systems for monitoring and evaluation. The primary focus of the workshop will be on South-East Europe and Western Balkans, but the expected participation of experts from other UNECE countries would bring additional insights about good practices and experiences from across the UNECE region.
The Road Traffic Safety Agency of the Republic of Serbia, with the support of the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC), Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering of the Belgrade University, Faculty of Technical Science of the Novi Sad University and the Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies, is organizing an International Scientific Conference “Transport Safety Performance Indicators”.
